My cherished fabrics (Secret Garden by Robyn Pandolph) have become more than a box of horded fabrics. They are now a quilt top to warm me heart and body.
Good thing there isn’t an expiration date on fabric because these are old! I bought these back when I first started quilting. I immediately hide them away. Why? Now I’m at the point where I only buy fabric that I know I will be using in a project. My stash needs to be thinned out.
Next part will be sandwiching the top and getting it quilted. I don’t think it needs anything fancy, just some straight line quilting. After all, this will just be used to warm me and a few fur babies.
